If you purchase a firearm online or from another firearms dealer, you can have it shipped to Clear Sky Armory for the required California transfer.
We’ll receive the firearm, handle the required dealer paperwork and help you complete the California DROS process.

California has specific restrictions on which firearms and configurations can legally be transferred. Checking with us before purchasing can help avoid an expensive mistake.
Online Retailer Transfers
Current Fees:
Purchased and shipped within California: $50
Purchased and shipped outside of California: $75*
* We charge more for out of state as there is more work required to validate proper California state & local taxes and firearms excise taxes. In many cases, we may be required to be the agent to collect some or all of those taxes for out of state sales.
Online Retailer FFL Selection
There is no consistently used FFL database by online retailers. However, we are registered with most major online retailers as well as gunbroker. If you are checking out of a retailers store and it’s FFL search tool does not find us, please send us an email at clearskyarmory@gmail.com or a text at (530) 616-8146. We can usually get added to the retailer’s database within minutes or within 24 hours in the worst case. You can call us as well but it will be slower than email as our front desk personnel handle all in office work and he’ll have to notify the back office of the request which can take a while. An email or text goes straight to the back office personnel who contact the online retailer.
